The Anti-Defamation League's (ADL's) city-wide Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance Service will take place at 7:00 p.m., May 8 at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church, 10503 Westheimer, Houston, TX.
It will include special remarks by the Consuls General of Israel and Mexico and feature Holocaust Survivor Elena Zondowicz de Boguslavsky. Ms. Zondowicz was an only child in Poland when the Holocaust began and her parents courageously gave her to a Catholic family so she could survive. She lives in Mexico and will tell her story - one of suffering but also one of hope - at the service.
The service also will honor the memory of the 11 million victims of the Holocaust and will be followed by a reception at the church.
