Deep Listening provides the middle way between war and indifference. To listen deeply to the one we are in conflict with applies to couples, colleagues and nations. Practical measures will be taught to enhance this skill. Hopeful examples will fill the talk so the listener realizes this is not an idle dream but a practical tool.
The First Friday Forum, hosted by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers this month will present Ian Prattis, Professor of Anthropology and Religion at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
