The Bach Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of Guest Director Peter Kopp, will present music related to Philipp Melanchthon on February 16. The presentation will include J. S. Bach's Cantata 13: "Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir" and Renaissance work with texts by Melanchthon or composed in his honor.
Bach Vespers are held in the nave at 5:00 p.m. The service includes the liturgy for Evening Prayer, hymns, and choral music. There is no sermon—except in song.
