Christ the King will host The Child in Our Hands conference sponsored by the Melanchthon Institute and the Augsburg Youth & Family Institute. The conference will be Friday, February 28 through Saturday, March 1.
Research indicates that what happens in the home is slightly more influential in forming an individual's faith than programs that take place in a church building. Using this research as a basis, speakers and discussion will focus on the partnership between congregation and family, a partnership in which the primary responsibility for faith development is assumed by parents.
