At Part I of the Congregational meeting the congregation elected three new Church Council representatives: Daniel Johnson, Russell Post, and Susan Teich.
The new Council met in December and elected officers. They are: President, David Hollrah; Vice President, Bill Mintz; Member-at-Large (for representation on the Executive Committee), Susan Myres Uri; Treasurer, Kleta Gerhart; Assistant Treasurer, John Labuda; and Financial Secretary, Jerry Gosda. A Recording Secretary has not yet been named.
On Friday and Saturday, January 10 and 11, the Council will hold its annual retreat workshop at Camp Allen in Navasota. Dr. Peter Steinke will be the resource person. Though the workshop is planned expressly for Council members, it is open to all church members at their own expense. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pr. Moore at the church office by noon on January 3.
