The Houston CROP Walk is November 3, 2002. Lace up your walking shoes and get ready for a wonderful opportunity to support Church World Service.
Last year CWS sponsored 2,000 CROP Walks across the U.S., generating more than $16 million and impacting the lives of people in need here and in more than 80 countries worldwide. Those benefitting included both families affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks and those uprooted by the fighting in Afghanistan.
The event will take place at Sam Houston Park downtown. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. and the walk begins at 2:00 p.m. For information or to pick up registration forms, contact Heidi Harper or check out the bulletin board outside the nave.
