The Texas-Lousiana Gulf Coast Synod will sponsor a retreat at Lutherhill Camp near LaGrange on November 1-3 to train leaders in developing and implementing successful family and youth ministries.
The retreat, which is entitled Baptism4Life, will include 5 teaching sessions designed to train and empower volunteers or staff who lead volunteers in youth and family ministry programs. Beth Hartfield, Director of Youth and Family Ministry at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Pearland, and Neil Christians, Director of Youth and Family Ministry at Kinsmen Lutheran Church in Houston, will be the presenters. Each day will close with small groups meeting for reflection and prayers.
