Sixty-six sermons by the Rev. Edwin D. Peterman are now available in a volume entitled Practically Preaching: Who Do You Say I Am? Sermons for Year B—Mark. The book includes sermons for the liturgical year, as well as a forword by Dr. Otto Betz, Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies in Tübingen, Germany.
On November 24, Christ the King Sunday, Pr. Peterman will be guest preacher at both services. Books will be available for purchase for $20 after both services, and Pr. Peterman will be on hand to sign copies.
Pr. Peterman retired as Senior Pastor of Christ the King Church in 1998 after having served the congregation for over thirty years. The sermons in his book span those years. They are intended to be useful to pastors and lay people alike as a resource for understanding and reflecting on the texts appointed for the church year of Mark.
