Seminar for Personal Finances - November 4:
“Is There a Piece Missing from your Financial Peace?”

On Saturday, November 4 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Hosanna Lutheran Church (16526 Ella Blvd), the Melanchthon Institute and the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod Stewardship Team are co-hosting a one day workshop designed to help you complete your personal financial peace picture. The event is made possible by a grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. No products will be sold or promoted at this event.

This workshop is for people who want to be out of debt, leave a legacy, know more about how to manage their personal finances, and how to teach financial values to their families.

Thanks to a grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, this pilot project is offered at no cost to participants. Registration is limited to 75 people so register as soon as possible.

John E. C. Helmke, author of The Ten Questions: Easy Answers to Ten Touch Financial Questions is the keynote speaker. Helmke loves to teach people about money. He is a certified Financial Planner and a trainer of other financial planners. He is also an active member of a Lutheran congregation in the New England area and loves to play trumpet at worship services.

The Legacy Piece of your Financial Peace: The Rev. John Hunsicker, Development Director with Lutheran Foundation of the Southwest and a member of the TLGC Stewardship Team.

The Legal Pieces of your Financial Peace: Mr. William Hayes, an estate planning attorney who helps people with legal documents for power of attorney, wills, living wills and other documents needed to manage an estate. He is also on the Board of Directors of The Melanchthon Institute

The Resource Pieces of your Financial Peace: Mr. Kurt Goedecke, a Financial Consultant with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. He also serves as the Charitable Giving Advisor to The Melanchthon Institute.

The Basic Pieces of your Financial Peace: Mr. Brannon Lloyd, a financial advisor and educator with the family-owned K. B. Lloyd family business specializing in wealth management for Bellaire and West University area residents.
