Wednesday Night Alive! is back starting September 6 with dinner at 5:30. Children and adults alike will fill every room and corner of the ministry building; eating, learning, singing, playing instruments, studying, praying, writing life stories, and so much more. Communities grow strong by having good times together and through sharing life experiences together. Wednesday nights at Christ the King Church encompass having good times and the opportunity to share quality time with each other in an effort to build strong bones for the body of Christ.
The offerings are very similar to previous years, however some time and room changes have occurred so please refer to the schedule and registration packet which has detailed descriptions of all classes. This information will be available on the www.ctkelc.org website all year long. The music classes for children have been extended to 45 minutes. The two Godly Play classes are 45 minutes as well. Godly Play 2 for the older children will have new lessons and offer more time for deepening previous lessons through art response and reading. A new class for adults called “The Bible and Lutheran Theology” is taught by Pr. Moore offering an introduction to some basic tenets of the faith and to the understanding of the Bible from the grounds of Reformation theology.
