Are you looking for a meaningful way to help others? If you have a few hours to give, JobNet wants and needs you! JobNet is a program offered by Christian Community Service Center (CCSC). They help the unemployed and underemployed find jobs! These persons want to become more self-sufficient and productive, and JobNet helps achieve those goals!
Amazing things happen at JobNet – job-seekers learn new skills, find hidden job leads, and receive invaluable coaching from volunteers. “Office Angels” work closely with CCSC Staff Members – greeting clients, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
The JobNet facility is located near Greenway Plaza (close to West Alabama @ Edloe). Although there is great flexibility, most JobNet “Office Angels” help for 2-3 hours per week. A variety of shifts are available. For more information please contact Clare Bruce at 713-961-3993, ext. 211.
