There will be a Blessing of the Animals service in the courtyard of Christ the King Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m.
The service, was first offered in 1995, lasts about 45 minutes. In the past it has drawn pet owners both from the congregation and from the community at large. A diversity of pets have been presented, including ferrets, crabs, and gold fish, as well as the more typical cats and dogs.
