Sunday Forum meets Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in the basement classroom.

June 4: John Boles “On Writing and Reviewing Books.” John will discuss what authors do or have in mind when they write a book, and what reviewers need to think about when they review one. To illustrate, John will discuss a book he has in progress to demonstrate an author’s strategy.

June 11:Rabbi Samuel Karff, rabbi emeritus of Beth Israel, will talk about his new book, Permission to Believe: Finding Faith in Troubled Times. Copies of his book will be available for purchase.

June18: Naomi Nelson reviews Dreams For My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, by Barack Obama

June 25: Carolyn Jacobs reviews The Sunflower: On the Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness, by Simon Wiesenthal
