Volunteers Needed for Tag Sale

Our fourth annual churchwide tag sale is only a month away, and we are in need of volunteers to help for one Friday evening and/or one Saturday morning. If you have only a couple of hours to spare, we WILL use you! Please consider helping in one of the following ways:

Friday, May 12
The night before the tag sale involves arranging and pricing items for the next morning. We need people to help:
· Organize the parish hall in household categories.
· Place items in the correct area.
· Display items as best as possible.
· Price items. (If anyone is knowledgeable in pricing, we really need you! This is a key area and most difficult for us. If we don’t price the item high enough, we make less money for our children’s programs!)
· Make signs.
· Eat the yummy treats and beverages that we bring!
· Purchase items for yourself. If you help us, then you get first dibs Friday evening!

Saturday, May 13
Our sale takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon. We need people to help:
· Answer questions from potential buyers.
· Price items “on the spot” if necessary. (Prices may fall off or get missed the night before.)
· Play cashier. (We need two to three people.)
· Transport leftover items to charities. (Those of you with pick-up trucks or large SUVs are greatly needed!)
· Clean up. (Help pick up the parish hall as much as possible.)
