To help fund some of our children’s programs, we are having a tag sale on Saturday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the parish hall. We are asking you to consider what you may have around your home. Due to the large amount of leftover clothes we’ve experienced in past years, we are only accepting adult designer clothes in pristine condition including near-perfect baby, toddler and children’s clothes.
Please bring your items prepriced to the library beginning after services on Sunday, May 7. You may also drop off items during church hours throughout that week in the parish hall, which is also open in the evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of that week until 8:00 p.m. If you are able, use tape or a label to price each item to help us reduce set-up time and labor. Certain items are big sellers. Some ideas:
· Costume or vintage jewelry
· Purses/bags
· Watches
· Electronics – TVs, VCRs, Walkmans, stereos
· Tools – including garden tools and lawn mowers
· Collectibles
· Sporting goods – tennis rackets, golf clubs, etc.
· Sneakers
· Baseball caps and visors
· Light fixtures
· Extra tiles
· Appliances (manual included if necessary)
· Kitchen Accessories
· Bedding (mark size – twin, double, etc.)
· Costumes
· Baby Gear – strollers, cribs, etc.
· CDs/Tapes
If you are donating vintage or antique items, or items that are rather new or in excellent condition, please make a note on its age and where it was purchased. For any electronics or appliances, please indicate whether they are working and include all necessary wires/parts and a manual, if possible. The small appliances really must work; larger appliances that are not working might still be purchased.
We ask that you advise us of any large and/or valuable donations (tell us about them so we can sell them for the right price) prior to delivery. You may contact Michelle Beck. All remaining items will be donated to a local charity.
