Remember back to your BC days (before children) when you could complete a sentence, talk about current events, and people wanted to know your opinion? We are offering you a chance to do that right here at church on Sunday mornings with other parents of infants and toddlers. This is the format:
• Let the Nursery and Sunday School staff tend to your little ones. Come with coffee and snacks to the 2nd floor council room.
• 9:30 – 10:00 Thirty minutes of informal caring conversations with one or two other parents of young children. (Suggested topics of conversation will be provided.)
• 10:00 – 10:30 Half hour presentation on topics of interest to parents of young children such as:
When do I need to call the doctor?
How do I save for my child’s college education?
Do all children do these things?
How do I find some time for myself and my spouse?
What are some fun places in Houston to take my family?
What are appropriate ways to share my faith with my children?
How do I keep out-of-state grandparents involved in my children’s lives?
• 10:30 – 10:40 Announcements, sharing resources and information, planning future topics.
• 10:40 Pick up your child(ren) and head for home or worship.
