March 12: Katja Kokott is an elementary school teacher from Germany, who is currently teaching for one year in the Aldine Independent School District.
March 19: Dr. Regina Kecht, Associate Professor in the German Department of Rice University, will address “How much intercultural competence is good for you?” She will share her reflections on issues of identity and intercultural aptitude in a rapidly changing world. Dr. Kecht will explore the benefits of being a global ‘resident alien’.
March 26: Federico Salas-Isnardi (member of Christ the King Church) will talk about Argentina. Take a trip down south, to Argentina, a country with an educational system with roots in the 1860’s guaranteeing access to free education from elementary school to college. How is that possible and what rules, both academic and behavioral, must the students abide by to succeed?
April 2: Pr. Peter Stockmann will talk about theological education in Russia.
April 9: To be announced.
