All parents, including expecting parents, are invited to the “annual co-op renewal meeting” to be held in the 2nd floor conference room Saturday, January 21 beginning promptly at 4:30 p.m. This is our annual renewal time for the year 2006. If you plan to participate in Parents’ Night Out (PNO) or Movies in the Hall (MITH) any time during 2006, at least one representative from your family should attend this meeting. Our compact and fees for the new year will be discussed, adopted and signed at this meeting. All co-op members are required to sign the compact prior to using PNO/MITH for 2006. Please bring your 2006 calendar because you will have an opportunity to pick your working night for the year. Whether you are a returning family or a new family, we look forward to seeing you at this meeting. Childcare will be offered during the meeting; please look for a special RSVP for this purpose.
Parents’ Night Out/Movies in the Hall (PNO/MITH) is an independent co-op of parents that uses the church facilities at least once a month from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. for affordable childcare. Two adult representatives from each family commit to work together ONE NIGHT during our calendar year which runs February through January. PNO offers age-appropriate care and activities for ages 5 and under in the nursery with the average cost being $10/child. MITH offers age-appropriate activities and movies for ages 6 and up in the parish hall supervised by 2 working parents. The normal cost of MITH is $1/child.
Our final PNO and MITH for 2005 year will begin at 5:30 following the 4:30 meeting on January 21. New co-op members are welcome to use PNO/MITH for that evening. RSVP is required by Wednesday, January 18. RSVP sheets with the 2006 compact draft and proposed schedule are posted in the church nursery.
